Lavender is neither very modern nor very trendy. Entering Lavender is like entering Singapore in the late 1980s, and we know that two decades might as well be a century in this era of globalization. Lavender is an area that is covered with some old HDB blocks, a few fancy commercial buildings and a lot of good food. Mostly, though, Lavender is a simple but lovable district filled with small auatomotive shops, hardware sotres and temples. The Immigration and Customs Authority (ICA) building, standing tall and new in Lavender, sticks out like a sore thumb.

In 2008, a "Punggol 21 plus" plan was announced, with a man made river adjoining the 2 rivers, and cutting across Punggol 21. The North-East MRT line provides quick and hassle-free connections island-wide. With Tampines Expressway (TPE) just minutes away, and linked to CTE, SLE and PIE, travelling to and from Punggol could not be easier. The Punggol LRT and Bust Interchange further provide the framework for an integrated transportation system. Punggol's exciting design concept is one that encourages a vibrant community. Smaller and intimate estates are clustered around a common green. This lush and manicured stretch of greenery is also home to a wide variety of flowering shrubs and stately trees. Amid a beautifuyl living environment with open spaces for recreation, relaxation and reflection. Adorned with lush landscapes and elegant facades, Punggol is a great place for setting up a new home and fostering family bonds and friendship ties.
